Das beliebte, britische Download Festival 2022 startet vom 10. bis 12. Juni im Donington Park Leicestershire nahe Nottingham stattfinden. Auf Grund der Auswirkungen rund um das Coronavirus mussten die Veranstalter leider die beiden Ausgaben 2020 und 2021 absagen. Das dreitägige Rockfestival soll nu aber im neuen Jahr seine 17. Runde feiern und wird dazu 100.000 Besucher*innen einladen. Natürlich präsentiert das Download Festival 2022 dabei zahlreiche Künstler aus den Genres Metal, Rock und Hardrock.

Als Top-Acts für das Download Festival 2022 Line-Up sind Volbeat, Iron Maiden, KISS, Biffy Clyro, Deftones, KoRn, Megadeth, Rise Against, Steel Panther, The Darkness, The Distillers, Sepultura,The Pretty Reckless und viele mehr bestätigt. Veranstalter Live Nation wird aber schon bald weitere Künstlernamen bekanntgeben.
